THE VENUE: Royal Selangor Club’s Sports Annexe

During the British occupation of Malaya, they left a number of historical buildings; one of them being the Royal Selangor Club. It was founded in 1884, situated next to a field – now known as Dataran Merdeka. Eminent members of the British colonial society regularly made RSC their meeting point.

The club then founded a second branch in highly-populated Bukit Kiara. The Royal Selangor Club's Kiara Sports Annexe was officiated by DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Dipertuan Agong in 1998. To this day, RSC continues to be a prestigious provider of sporting and social facilities for its members. Visitors enjoy the Sports Annexe for its harmonious atmosphere to unwind in the weekends while taking part in the various sports events happening throughout the week.
