Saudi Arabia's spinners demolished China, bowling them out for 60 at the Chiang Mai Gymkhana. Ijaz Jaghir and Hussain Anwar took nine wickets between them, China showing themselves to be comfortable against pace for the first hour of play. From 40 for 0 in the 14th over, China were all out ten overs later, Ijaz making the initial breakthrough and then wheeling away his slow left-armers to take six wickets.

Saudi's openers knocked off the runs inside 11 overs.
