PAKISTAN WIN EASILY AGAINST HONG KONG IN SECOND TIE OF UNIMONI ASIA CUP 2018

Pakistan beat Hong Kong by 8 wickets to win their opening tie of the Unimoni Asia Cup 2018.

HONG KONG CAPTAIN, ANSHUMAN RATH

“We don’t have the greatest start in tournaments, if you look at our history in the Asia Cup Qualifier we lost our first game to Malaysia. In the 2015 T20 World Cup Qualifier we lost to Jersey in our first game. So we don’t start well in tournaments, going into the India game we have got nothing to lose. Hopefully the guys will pick themselves up and learn from their mistakes. I hope they do, and that includes me.”

PAKISTAN PLAYER OF THE MATCH, USMAN SHINWARI

“India is a number one team, and Pakistan is also a very good side and the players are in good form, so as far as the India –Pakistan match goes, whichever team plays better on the day will win the match. Any player who performs well in an India Pakistan match find his career reaches a new high, and every player dreams of doing well in this contest. I took three wickets today, I hope that can be five wickets against India.”
