Future Stars Of Asia Gather In UAE

The third ACC U-15 Cup running from April 11 to 22 sees some of the region’s best young cricketers gather for what has been a much anticipated event. “We see these tournaments as fundamental to the development of cricket in Asia. They serve as vital building-blocks for competitors’ skills and fitness,” says Sultan Rana the ACC Development Officer.

Twelve teams participate in what promises to be a closely fought tournament. It is expected that the strongest teams will emerge from those countries which have the best youth development programs.

The tournament opens with the hosts, UAE taking on the Maldives at Sharjah Stadium.
