The ACC Under 19 Eastern Region – one of the series of regional qualifiers for the 2018 Under-19 World Cup. Nepal, Singapore, Thailand, Bhutan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and Myanmar will go against each other for a spot closer to qualify for the ACC Under 19 Asia Cup in December 2017. Three venues housing these qualifying matches have been announced: Kinrara Oval, Bayuemas Oval and Club Aman.

Club Aman has been around for many years. Before it became a cricket ground, it was a tine-mining site until in 1968, when 4000 truckloads of earth from Kuala Lumpur Hilton building site was used to fill up the pit. Groundworks begun and the oval was completed in 1974.

Big, prominent games have been played here - in 1995, The ground made its first debut in housing their first cricket match, where Malaysia played against Thailand for the Tuanku Jaafar Cup. After making their name, Club Aman then held 10 matches of the Carlsberg ICC Trophy, which was the qualifying tournament for the 1999 Cricket World Cup.

In 1998, Club Aman held five A list matches of the 1998 Commonwealth Games, seeing Malaysia vs Sri Lanka, Northern Ireland vs South Africa, Malaysia vs Zimbabwe, New Zealand vs Scotland and Barbados vs South Africa.

For the ACC Under 19 Eastern Region, Club Aman will host matches Hong Kong vs China (10/9), Nepal vs Thailand (11/9), Singapore vs Thailand (12/9) and Nepal vs Singapore 14/9) – all scheduled to start at 9.30am. Come by and watch the teams fight for their spot in the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup!

The address is: 4 Lorong Damai Lima, off Jalan Aman, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You can get to club Aman via Damai LRT Station or Jelatek LRT Station. If you are taking your car, you may head south on Jalan Tun Razak and take a left into Jalan Aman. Landmards to look out for are: Embassy Of The Republic Of Poland, High Commission Of The People's Republic Of Bangladesh and The Saudi School Kuala Lumpur.
