Workshop delegates in Bangkok *

Two workshops for ACC members have been held on Bangkok and Dubai in order to help countries’ preparations for the ACC and ICC funding on their way to them in 2010.

With the millions on offer come thousands of significant matters which need to be well managed if countries are to deserve, retain and increase their funding from the global body in future years.

Seven ACC members from the Gulf region attended the first workshop in Dubai at the start of October with eight of the others in attendance in Bangkok a week later.

Discussions moderated by ICC Member Service Officer Hayden Smith, ICC Compliance Manager Sarah De Rozario, ACC Development Manager Bandula Warnapura and ACC Development Program Co-ordinator Ganesh Sundarammoorthy covered member countries’ budget requirements, their setting and meeting of operational targets as well as the purpose and benefits of having a Budget and Reporting mechanism.
