CHINA'S WOMEN TO TOUR MALAYSIA

As a prelude to their participation in the ACC Women’s Twenty20 Championship in July, China will be playing three matches against Malaysia at the Kinrara Oval in Kuala Lumpur. The tour is being supported by the Pakistan Cricket Board and is being personally monitored by Pakistan’s Ambassador for Cricket to China Javed Miandad.

“The tour represents a tremendous opportunity for both China and Malaysia to prepare for the ACC T20 Championship,” says ACC Development Officer for China Aminul Islam. “China is being very much supported by Pakistan in the months ahead of the Asian Games in Guangzhou next year. Getting used to playing on grass is very helpful and I am sure that China will benefit.” Malaysia’s women were runners-up in the ACC U-19 Women’s championship last year and many from that side will feature in this season’s games.
