CHINA’S DOMESTIC CRICKET ON A ROLL

The 2007 domestic cricket season has started in China with 64 teams taking part in various competitions, 15 of which are women's teams. Age-groups ranging from U-12 to seniors will play and games will be played in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang and Guangzhou.

National coach Rashid Khan has been on a talent-search across Beijing, Shanghai and Shenyang looking for suitable players for the women's team which will start centralised training in June for the ACC Women's Championship.
