The first Iranian women's cricket tournament has been held in Kermanshah, in the west of the country. Four teams, including two from Tehran, took part with Kerman coming through as the winners.

Fatemeh Nourie, an umpire for three years, was the convenor of the tournament and says that "In these pictures you can feel the passion for the game in Iranian girls. We love to grow the cricket family in Iran."
